The 2027 Ford Expedition offers two versions of its 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6. The standard engine produces 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, while the available High-Output version raises output to 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft. The High-Output engine comes standard on the off-road-focused Ford Expedition Tremor® and is available on select Platinum® configurations.
Both engines pair with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while 4x2 and 4x4 configurations are offered depending on the model. The Ford Expedition Tremor® comes standard with 4x4 and adds equipment such as 33-inch all-terrain tires, a 3.73 electronic-locking differential, and Rock Crawl mode for more adventurous driving.
